We are looking for Licensed Practical Nurses / LPN and Registered Nurse / RN professionals with a sincere heart for elder care! Hiring Immediately! $32.00 - $44.50 per hour.

About Us: Franke Tobey Jones is a not for profit organization located in Tacoma's historic North End. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, we offer Independent Living residences, Assisted Living options, Skilled Nursing Health Care and Memory Care units.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse / RN OR Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing is required
• DSHS Dementia and Mental Health certification preferred
• PCC experience
• current CPR and experience with the elderly highly desired

Job duties include:

• Assess resident needs; administer medications; and make timely recommendations
• Administer treatment applications including, but are not limited to: taking and recording of vital signs, collecting fluid samples, dressing of wounds, etc.
• Monitor, update, teach and train Aides
• Maintain medical records on residents

Other duties as assigned including, but are not limited to:

• Interacting with family members and peers regarding resident condition
• Responding to incoming telephone calls
• Monitoring supplies and usage with cost control in mind

Shift: We currently have immediate openings in Memory Care and Skilled Nursing, day or evening shifts. Full time schedules have every other weekend off. We accept LPN or RN for these nurse positions.
