Job Overview:

We are seeking On-demand Licensed Mental Health Therapists to provide quality mental health services to clients in the United States using Syra Health’s telehealth platforms. The successful candidate will work on an as-needed basis, providing telehealth services or in-person appointments as requested. The role involves providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to clients with a variety of emotional and behavioural issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct mental health assessments and diagnose mental health conditions.
• Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Provide counselling and therapy sessions to clients via telehealth or in-person appointments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients through secure messaging, phone calls, or video conferencing.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and treatment modalities.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of mental health services.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in psychology, counselling, or social work
• State licensure - LMHT, LMHC; LMFT; LCSW; LPCC
• Should have individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy.
• Individual NPI number and allowed to practice independently.
• Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counselling and guidance
• Knowledge of human behaviour and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioural and affective disorders.
• Experience providing mental health services to clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable providing telehealth services via video conferencing and other secure platforms.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing on-demand behavioural and mental health services
• Specialized training or certification in areas such as addiction counselling, trauma therapy, or marriage and family therapy
• Experience working with students.
• This is a part-time position with flexible hours, and the compensation will be based on the number of clients seen.
