Here at The Laser Loft, we are looking for a part-time aesthetician with impeccable communication skills who is confident, reliable, has a great attention to detail, and loves working with people. The Laser Loft is one of Columbus’ leading laser hair removal centers with over 20 years of experience in the industry. We have an excellent clientele base that is just waiting to experience more aesthetic services in our newly renovated location in Gahanna.

The Laser Loft offers results oriented services coupled with highly personalized care so that our clients can look and feel their best.

REQUIREMENTS

Among other things, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing advanced aesthetic services including but not limited to: Facials, Chemical Peels, Lash Lifts, microdermabrasion, Geneo Facials, Oxygen Facials, Cryofacials and other services on our clients in accordance with best practices.
• Educating our clients on the best homecare regimen for their skin
• Responsible for all aspects of patient care including taking medical histories and performing skincare/facial aesthetics consults.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• High proficiency with patient charting
• Interact with patients and staff with a high level of professionalism.
• Address and answer patient concerns
• Attend and participate in training and staff meetings.
• Must be interested and willing to learn new procedures such as Microdermabrasion, hydrodermabrasion, Geneo facials, Oxygen, Chemical peels and other procedures as needed.
• Monitor inventory and supply levels of injectables and other consumables to alert staff of ordering needs.
• Follow all HIPPA and OSHA guidelines and standards.
• Proficiency in social media & marketing of spa treatments
• This position will see patients independently but will be supervised by the Spa Manager and managing owner.

The position requires:

• Valid and in good standing Esthetician Ohio license.
• Strong knowledge of current patient treatment techniques/trends in skincare
• Skilled in social media platforms and self promotion. Must meet/exceed office goals by actively marketing/networking.
• Create and promote monthly specials for treatments.
• Motivation to learn new procedures and increase clinical skills via provided training and ongoing education.
• Consult with patients on aesthetic procedures. Establish, explain and execute treatment plans, document treatments and follow-up with patients in a timely manner.
• Polished professional that is passionate about aesthetics.
• Ability to work and organize special events as needed and assigned.
• Comfort in marketing ones services to attract new clients
• Warm and professional appearance and demeanor

• Outgoing, go-getter personality

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum experience of 2 years in aesthetics with a proven sales track record. Preferably in a medical spa or plastic surgery setting.
• Have knowledge of Skinbetter, Skinceuticals, Obagi & Face Reality Product lines.
• A self-starter who does not require micromanagement
• Comfortable with learning new client management systems
• Basic understanding of technology
• Reliable, responsible, accountable
• Kind, aware of others, and emotionally intelligent
• Passionate about the aesthetics industry, learning and growing along with our fast-paced medical spa

Our part-time position (20+ hours per week) requires some nights and weekends. We typically offer a market competitive product commission minus procedure costs, plus you always keep 100% of your tips. However, for the right, experienced candidate, we are willing to negotiate! The more you sell, the more you make! All our employees enjoy an employee discount of 50% Off product and free monthly medspa services.
