Lead Teacher Job at Haslett Child Development Center
Haslett Child Development Center is a team oriented environment with a long standing history in the Haslett community. We are accepting applications for a lead toddler teacher in our two-year-old room! We are seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to encourage maximum growth and scaffold learning for children in all domains of development. Flexible schedules are available.

Qualifications
- An Infant Toddler CDA, Associate Degree in Child Development, or Bachelor's in Child Development
- Willing to complete the Infant Toddler CDA within 6 months of hire
- 1 year of experience with infants or toddlers
- Background checks are required
Job responsibilities include
- Creating lesson plans within the HighScope Curriculum
- Conducting assessments for all students using COR Advantage and Ages and Stages Questionnaire
- Communicating positively with parents regarding child progress and/or concerns
- Supervising and mentoring assistants
Physical ability should be sufficient to frequently bend, stoop, sit on the floor and lift up to 40 pounds.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and meet all child daycare licensing guidelines required by the state of Michigan.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
