As our Laundry Aide, you will pick up, sort, launder, fold and redistribute personal laundry for assigned residents in our healthcare center, along with linens from dining. The Laundry Aide ensures the proper labeling and distribution of personal items and the redistribution of such items. Also assists with some light housekeeping as needed.

​Covenant Living at Windsor Park is seeking a part time, 16 hour a week, weekend day shift , laundry aide for our Housekeeping team. Job Duties:
Launder bedding, towels, other resident belongings as needed.
Sort and distribute laundered items to resident rooms and storage areas as appropriate.
Collect soiled hand towels, resident clothing, and other fabrics from resident rooms, as well as the nursing facility, and distribute clean laundry to resident rooms or supply closets.
Advise supervisor of laundry supply needs.
Assist in distribution of house linens from linen service as needed.
Separate items to be laundered and dry-cleaned by outside services, checking clothing and marking with name tags as needed. Check returned laundry and distribute to residents.
Wash laundry at proper temperatures with proper kinds and amounts of detergents and other cleaning chemicals. Operate washing machine and dryer in laundry process.

Job Requirements:
One year high school education.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written in English.
Ability to work independently and be able to make independent decisions in the absence of supervisor.
An interest in and desire to work with older adults.
