Custom Landscapes is a small and growing landscaping company operating out of Chittenden County. I am currently seeking folks to join the team for 2023 starting in the spring. At Custom Landscapes we do it all including but not limited to Spring/Fall Cleanups, Hardscapes, Plantings, Fences, mowing, and other odd jobs. There’s a few positions I’d like to fill. These would be from April to December, but I will say that I would also be into a temporary position for someone just for the spring as well.

Lead gardener -Knowleadgeable of plants and how to care for them -Ability to work independently and with a team, - Excellent and positive communicator as this person would have plenty of time interacting with clients - Detail Oriented. - If you have a good eye for it and/or have experience with garden design there is a possibility this could be incorporated

Stone Mason -Experience with patios, walls, and walkways. -Detail Oriented -Interest and ability in doing lots of other things as well, Spring Cleanups, Plantings, Fences, Etc. - Ideally have experience with machinery and driving trucks and trailers, but willing to train

General Laborer- Someone who wants to learn the ins and outs of landscaping. Garden maintenance, stone work, plantings, fences, etc. Would fill in where is needed All Positions require hard physical work. We always try to emphasize quality while also showing clients that we are working hard. You need to be honest and reliable, and willing to go the extra mile to do the job right, and also willing to ask for help and be excellent communicators. Reliable transportation is a must and the ability to drive a truck/trailer is also helpful. This is a good opportunity to join a growing company and learn a lot and not get bored doing the same thing every day. Compensation is $19-$25/hr depending on experience with room to increase. There is end of season bonuses and several paid holidays. Additional paid time off offered for every 40 hours worked equaling to 1 hour paid time off. I also provide rain gear and gloves. Depending on transportation status and whether you meet at job site or pick up a truck at HQ in Shelburne, weekly gas stipend offered as well. I would ideally like to find folks who are interested in staying with the company long term. I will also mention that work is full time, but I do not require folks to work overtime.
