Job Description
Looking for part time Landscaper / Dock Hand at Reynolds Park Yacht Center in Green Cove Springs, FL on the St Johns River. Would be working closely with Groundskeeper to ensure the beautification of the property and that all areas are well maintained and clean to impeccable standards. When landscaping duties are completed general maintenance duties and assistance in the marina may be required.
Work schedule:
Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
3-4 days per week.
Hours could vary from 20-28 per week. (flexible)
Rate based on experience starting at $16/hr.
Responsibilities of Landscaper / Maintenance
· Grounds keeping duties
· Ensure the turf is well maintained.
· Beautify properties by pulling weeds, watering, removing trash, trimming, edging, pruning, and blowing leaves and debris using different pieces of landscape equipment.
· Keep golf carts and equipment clean and in working order.
· Interact with marina boaters, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner.
· Assist boaters in docking and undocking their boats
· Oversee trash removal and maintenance of dock facility.
· Clean docks using pressure washers and other mechanical equipment.
· Cleaning docks, gangways and power pedestals.
· Rust Removal and Painting
Education/Certifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Clean Driving record
Physical Requirements:
· Able to work outside for long periods of time
· Able to pick up 40 lbs
· Able to swim
· Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
Other Requirements:
· Must pass background check and drug screening
