General Purpose:

The purpose of the Landscape Driver/Delivery position is to deliver bulk yard material to Adams’ customers per the scheduled delivery date and time, and provide excellent customer service.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Description:

• Make deliveries of bulk and yard items
• Operate loader
• Deliver material to specified location requested by customer
• Communicate with the customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Deliver materials on time
• Communicate with management and other landscape personnel
• Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck on daily basis
• CDL license required
• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license, good driving record and must pass drug test
• Fill out equipment and vehicle repair report/ Daily Job Tickets/ DVIRs

Physical Requirements:

• Sweep out bed of truck
• Ability to consistently lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to bend, squat, stretch, climb and lift
• Climb a ladder/step stool
• Can see and hear
• Good verbal communication skills
• Work outdoors in all seasons in all weather conditions
• Ability to work overtime during the busy season

Mental/Reasoning Requirements:

• Basic reading & math skills
• Ability to read blueprints and implement
• Writing skills
• Organizational skills
• Follow directions and focus on the job
