Your day.



As a Lab Outreach Account Rep, you need to know how to:



  • Routinely meet with physicians, nurses, office managers, laboratory directors, nursing home personnel, and other parties to improve loyalty among their client base and procure business.
  • Expand market share through the identification, qualification, and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans, designed to drive new sales, upgrade efforts, improve customer retention, and enhance field service activities.
  • Call on all new accounts to increase volume and broaden use of service by promoting tests and services.
  • Improve account retention, minimize at-risk accounts, and immediately inform the Outreach Managing Director of any anticipated issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales and prospecting activities including but not limited to all sales and marketing calls, presentations, proposals, and follow-up within the assigned territory. Enter sales call information into Salesforce (CRM) as required.
  • Complete Investigative Call and Prospect Assessment Worksheets as required.
  • Comply with project’s client set-up activities and ensure accuracy of information.
  • Assist with billing-related issues such as past due amounts from clients.
  • Support Performance Improvement Initiatives and Patient Safety activities.
  • Generate status reports reflective of sales activity, client issues, opportunities, and overall territory disposition.

Your experience.

  • Current Colorado driver's license or the ability to obtain within thirty (30) days moving to Colorado.
  • Motor vehicle record and proof of automobile insurance coverage to be updated annually.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience in the healthcare field.

Preferred:



  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology, marketing or related field.
  • Current Medical Laboratory Technician / Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent.
  • Previous physician office sales and marketing experience.
  • Prior record of successful revenue production in previous healthcare-related sales positions.
