Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops is a leading cabinet manufacturer with 4 Design Showrooms in the greater Boston area. We serve developers, contractors, architects, and interior designers for all their renovation needs. We build products to your specifications, within budget, to meet the customer’s deadlines.
Over 90% of the products we sell are manufactured or fabricated at our factory in Norwood, Massachusetts.

  • Work hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm and no weekends

We are currently looking for a Kitchen Designer / Sales Associate to support all our showrooms. Qualified candidates must have experience in kitchen sales and demonstrate the ability to design semi-custom and custom work. This individual must be able to independently close sales while providing excellent customer service. The candidate must have the ability to adjust sales techniques in an ever-changing showroom environment.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Working with trade professionals and their clients on residential projects
  • Designing, estimating, and measuring each project with accuracy
  • Prioritizing jobs to ensure required installation dates are met
  • Developing relationships with trade professionals to create a base of repeat customers


Experience and skills required:
  • Minimum two years of kitchen & bath design experience
  • Proficient in 2020 Design
  • Job site measuring, to ensure the fit of cabinetry
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Transportation for job site measures
