Junior Business and Technology Analyst - Quality Assurance Job at Axos Bank

You will begin with a unique program geared toward providing multi-software platform exposure that focuses on the expansion of knowledge and real-life application within each. Your journey will begin with an initial assignment to a software team with specific roles and responsibilities. As you progress through the program, you will rotate into different complimentary software teams where roles and responsibilities will change. The final goal of the program is permanent placement within your area of focus.
As a member of the Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for testing various areas of Axoscore banking functionality, including Web UI, SQL databases, REST APIs, and Mobile devices. You willbe responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and applying business rules and logic to ensure a high level ofsoftware quality, consistency, and repeatability. You will work closely with Project, Product, Development,and Production Support teams to meet agreed-upon deliverables.
- Working as part of an Agile cross-functional team performing manual and hybrid no-code/lo-code automation testing of various items each sprint
- Utilizing tools such as TestIM, Postman, and\or SQL Query Analyzer to verify bugs and enhancements
- Reviewing new and existing user stories to ensure a good understanding of Axos bank core functionality
- Utilizing Azure DevOps to document and report on issues found to the Quality Assurance, Development, and Product teams
- Creating and updating test plans
- Writing new and updating existing test cases as needed
- Providing test effort estimates each sprint
- Manual testing of web, mobile, APIs, and databases
- Automated testing of web, mobile, APIs, and databases
- Attending various meetings, including daily standups, sprint planning and grooming sessions, along with 1:1 meetings with the QA Manager
- Perform any additional duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related discipline

- Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, SQL, C#, or similar coding or query language

- Familiarity with Jira, Postman, Visual Studio, SQL Query Analyzer, Azure DevOps, or similar tools

A targeted hourly range of USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr., based on the experience, skills, and education/certification required for this position. Eligibility for a discretionary semi-annual incentive compensation plan, based upon performance, payable in cash and/or share grants (RSU’s) that may vest over time. The annual discretionary target bonus percentage is 20%.
