Consolidated Networks Corporation (CNC) is hiring a Jr. Systems Administrator / Help Desk Support. This is a nonexempt position at Ft. Irwin, the U.S. Army National Training Center (NTC), located in the Mojave Desert 40 miles northeast of Barstow, CA. Candidate will perform the duties outlined below and other duties as assigned in a complex fast paced 24 x 7 DoD Army computing environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Security+ CE or equivalent certification
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain Fort Irwin driving privileges
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Must be willing to work shift work during rotations
  • Must be able to travel to remote locations on post in extreme weather conditions as required to include the heat, and cold of the Mojave Desert, helicopter travel, 4x4 travel, tactical vehicles elevated walkways, and mountain tops

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs various production control activities including gathering and filing records, reporting on use of materials, monitoring customer orders, posting production schedules, and calculating production rates
  • Reports to Help Desk Lead
  • Attends phones on the Help Desk and logs calls into JIRA
  • Maintains Building Log (locking and unlocking of bldgs.)
  • Supports 24-hour Rotational shifts
  • Maintains ATMP Log (coordinate repairs and maintenance)
  • Maintains Ridge Runner Log (Schedules Ridge Runner flights)
  • Box Log
  • Track Ridge Runner
  • Track Contact teams
  • Builds and imports battle roster
  • Assist with checkouts when the miles team cannot
  • Assists contact teams when in BOX, track them and assist with switching out IPU’s
  • Provide technical assistance for the Multi-Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) and Instrumentation checks and installation
  • Execute course of action towards system performance, functionality, and instrumentation operability
  • Monitor and Capture systems data using CTCIS & Microsoft products
  • Perform operation and maintenance of CTCIS
  • Electronic work order control
  • End user support
  • System maintenance, upgrades, and patching
  • Active Directory account creation
  • Scripting experience
  • Ability to effectively interact via verbal and written communications with stakeholders
  • Solid understanding and experience using and implementing DISA STIGs
  • Imaging and patch management; inventory; and troubleshooting
  • And other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,642.00 - $76,000.00 per year
