The Opportunity
Altus Group now has an opportunity for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join our busy global IT team, based remotely. The role is responsible for timely and effective resolutions to end-user issues relating to IT Service Operations. You will have previously worked as an IT Service Desk Analyst/ Senior Service Desk Analyst/ IT Support Desk Analyst/ Senior IT Support Desk Analyst and be looking to continue your career in this field working as part of a global IT support team.
You will be responsible for performing question/problem diagnoses, guiding users through to issue resolution, communicating technical solutions in user-friendly language, and producing IT end user documentation.
This position will be a hybrid working role though there may be a limited ad-hoc instances where office attendance (ideally Houston) is required across offices in the US if solutions cannot be provided remotely.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as first point of contact for all IT related issues
-
Conduct Incident Management and Request Fulfillment
-
Providing one-on-one end-user support and problem resolution via telephone, e-mail, and other vehicles of communication
-
Work directly with customers on IT related issues, including but not limited to hardware, software, mobile devices, printing, O365 apps, shared drive access, network connectivity.

Performing in-person, on-site repairs of hardware, printers, and other peripherals as required

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end user incidents and requests

Troubleshooting and escalating deeper and more complex issues

Assisting hardware and network technicians by troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues and, where necessary, in installing network interface cards, hubs, switches, network cabling, etc.;

Participating in adds, moves and changes to network and systems access, and hardware;
Skills Required:
-
Experience working in a Service Desk or call centre environment with ITIL framework
-
Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs on IT assets, and provide support for a wide range of applications
-
Microsoft platform experience
-
Apple MacOS experience - nice to have
-
Active Directory experience
-
Technical knowledge of different network levels: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls and security

Ability to quickly analyse issues and determine best course of action using available resources

Excellent written, oral, and telephone communication skills
-
Team player with the ability to work under pressure
