Denver International Airport is looking for a Senior IT Middleware Engineer to join the Business Technologies team. Job duties include:
  • Develop and maintain integrations on the Dell Boomi integration platform.
  • Elicit and validate requirements for integrations development
  • Lead design and planning discussions for new projects and enhancements
  • Identify and apply innovative technologies to update existing middleware.
  • Create and maintain documentation for middleware installations, changes and upgrades.
  • Train on middleware updates and new installations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and support team on problem resolution, design issues and upgrades.
  • Perform troubleshooting, incident response, and patching in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in timely and accurate manner to improve application performance and functionality.
  • Develop and implement strategies for migration, consolidation and upgrade of middleware components.
  • Evaluate system architecture and make recommendations as required.
  • Develop and implement standard processes for installation, maintenance and enhancement of middleware applications.
  • Communicate business effects of technical middleware/integration issues to end users
  • Documentation of solutions designed and implemented and maintaining documentation for all processes implemented
  • Other duties as assigned
About You
We are looking for candidates for some or all the following skills and experience:
  • Strong understanding of middleware and iPaas industry and leading technologies, to include comparative understanding of industry leaders
  • 3 years’ experience managing a middleware platform, to include patching, cert management, and upgrade of related technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of the Dell Boomi platform demonstrated by development experience listed on resume and/or Dell Boomi Certifications (Developer, Architect)
  • Experience in designing and implementing Continuous Integration solution, preferably in Azure Dev Ops
  • 3 years’ experience with scripting and automation of routine processes
  • Experience working within an Agile environment
  • Experience in the Azure App Dev environment, specifically Function Apps, Logic Apps, and API Gateway

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience: Three (3) years of professional level experience implementing and maintaining middleware systems.
  • Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
FBI Background Check: FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
Snow / Emergency Duties: Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees can be required to work extended hours and/or shifts.
