Summary: The Professional Services Technician is responsible for installing and/or supporting existing technology previously installed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate frequently and effectively with customers, prospects, vendors, and team members in a clear, friendly, direct, and professional manner.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customers that further develop our company’s positive reputation through consistent, exceptional customer service.
  • Responsible to install and troubleshoot: cameras, cabling, routers, switches, VoIP phones, servers, workstations and/or printer connectivity to the network or out to the Internet.
  • Provide assistance to customers’ on usability and functionality of software and hardware products.
  • Work as a team member to collaboratively resolve customer requests and technical issues with other team members, partners and vendors.
  • Works with other resources and vendors to deliver effective field support services.
  • Updates service request information with accurate documentation of all activities conducted.
  • Participate in “On Call” after business hours rotation duties and escalations.
  • Participates in ongoing training and attainment of manufacturer certifications to further develop your technical skills, sponsored by Premier Technologies.
  • Work in a variety of environments and at different client locations.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, related field of study, OR equivalent 2+ years’ work experience

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance, Required
  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification, Preferred
  • Cisco Entry Level certification, Preferred

Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be prepared to travel as required
  • Read and write in English required

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, an individual is regularly required to talk and hear. The person must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The individual is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The person must have good close and distance vision, be able to distinguish color and focus easily. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
