Sr. IT Analyst, Retail Technology (Remote Option)

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in support of C-Store Retail Systems.
  • Resolve basic to complex retail site systems, hardware, and software issues to completion.
  • Provide operational support of retail systems infrastructure including POS, back office, and credit network.
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications per defined procedures.
  • Assist in software releases and roll-outs.
  • Participate in onsite regional store migrations.
  • Accessing ticketing system and provide status updates to resolve tickets within service level agreements.
  • Coordinate with 3rdparty vendors for problem resolution and special projects.
  • Evaluate and deliver recommendations for new technologies and solutions, including hardware and software, and provide documentation for store solutions and projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate completion of assignments and projects on time.
  • Assist with creating or enhancing documentation.
  • Performs other job duties as required.
  • Role will be based in our corporate headquarters in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in IT field or equivalent combination of educations and experience-based learning or
  • 3 or more years’ experience in a retail c-store technology environment including point of sale, fuel, credit, back office, and daily book accounting processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and customer service skills; must be detail oriented with an ability to meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Requires good presentation and communication skills as well as team participation.
  • Must be able to interact with management and team in a remote work environment.
  • High level of personal accountability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of store support experience, preferably tier 3 or higher.
  • 3 to 5 years of point-of-sale administration experience, preferably Gilbarco Passport and/or Verifone Commander.
  • 1 to 3 years of PDI Enterprise store level experience.
