Position Overview
Delivers complex investment performance results to AMG clients. Manages and supports various internal advisors and associates and responds, resolves and communicates performance information and any issues that arise in those business lines. Mentors team members, leads in-depth analyses of individual portfolios and identifies and participates in process improvement initiatives.
Manages and coordinates delivery of investment performance measurement support and resolution of performance questions and issues. Performs calculation and analysis of complex reporting situations using previous industry experience and performance reporting query tools. Coordinates and leads complex resolutions of issues or questions with internal operational support teams, performance vendors, advisors, performance analysts and management as appropriate.
Develops and leads training of field personnel on usage of various performance systems. Educates them on various industry standards and their application in calculation of returns and usage of the systems.
Actively participates in performance reporting Initiatives, operational improvements, system releases and enhancements. Identifies procedural or operational inefficiencies, recommends and coordinates process improvement solutions. Actively participates in special and strategic projects.

Position Overview
- The Performance Measurement Team looks at rates of return on trade accounts and verifies that they are correct and audit, make sure the performance is accurate.
- The Sr. Investment Performance Analysts assist the field (investment advisors) via tickets when questions arise with an account and come up with a resolution.
- Review query tickets from the field via co-pilot, review the items and work within the team to solve the issues.
- Ticket requests involves research and analytical work to determine and solve the issue.
- Day-to-day activity includes auditing accounts – via tickets from the field such as looking into an account to figure out the issue causing the discrepancy.
- Work on different group related projects including onboarding and decommissioning of software related to the Performance Team.
- Work on creating and assigning benchmarks to accounts.
- Training the field on how to create, use and understand performance reports via the performance applications.
- Work with other applications and departments to solve issues.
- 1-2 years of SS&C Sylvan/Portia or First Rate Performance reporting systems is a plus.
- An understanding of performance reporting standards & data reconciliation.
- Working knowledge & experience with investments and securities.
- Comfortable working with large data sets.
- Prefer some trust performance experience or someone that has a general knowledge of it.
- General knowledge of investments & securities.
- Working knowledge of portfolio accounting and daily upkeep of accounts.
- Knowledge of performance measurement concepts.
