Job Summary:
The goal in this position will be to monitor and report on our company's inventory levels. This position will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis to ensure the correct supply.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains inventory system and forecast reviews.
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels, respond planning for restocking.
- Place purchase orders with local vendors.
- Processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
- Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Receive, unpack, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
- Processes and/or approves invoices for payment.
- Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
- Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
- Reconcile variances between purchase orders, invoices, material releases, shipments, and packing slips
- Maintain appropriate supply chain related records, including vendor information, receiving documentation, and other pertinent information as assigned
- Create purchase requisitions for locally sourced materials and place orders with appropriate lead times
- Ensure that all necessary documentation accompanies each order and shipment and remediates issues when applicable
- Monitor delivery performance, days on hand and related quality issues.
- Participate in Cost savings efforts
- Expedite P.O.’s and confirm delivery

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- +2 years of experience of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, inventory control and planning processes
- Database management skills.
- Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
- Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
- Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required for vendor and company-wide contacts.
