The Onsite Returns and Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels to increase and protect company profitability. Additionally, this role is responsible for the effective handling and management of product returns and warranty processing. You will work independently and collaborate with internal teams to ensure inventory control, warranty and parts return activities are completed while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities
- Facilitate the schedule for warehouse cycle counts, generate and close count sheets ensuring accuracy and timely execution supporting company initiatives including MIFs and JIT.
- Process physical and electronic weekly counts for client supply and parts sites to ensure sites are fully stocked and replenished as needed and conduct usage auditing
- Set up, maintain and audit inventory reorder levels for company, customer and technician warehouses.
- Manage excess inventory using proven methods of liquidation; writing inventory down or off, and reconcile payments received for excess inventory sold, maintaining a high rating for Marco’s accounts.
- Monitor team mailboxes including responding to incoming messages, navigating all requests and escalating as needed ensuring timeliness.
- Independently process physical and electronic inventory movement including transfers and all types of adjustments; understanding and correcting average cost pools.
- Coordinate returns of good, unused items; issuing client credits and return inventory to optimal warehouse for resale or vendor for credit.
- Return parts or product to the vendor by creating RTV’s as applicable and process credits received, confirming warranty eligibility as appropriate.
- Independently create RMA’s for warranty replacement product and issue call tags in time sensitive situations with client and/or vendor. Includes inventory allocation or correction, replacement invoicing to client and completion of client credits.
- Maintain data integrity to ensure consistency, trustworthiness, and accuracy of our ERP system.
- Actively participate and perform acquisition related activities.
- Provide back-up to other team members when they are out including becoming cross trained in their areas.
- Willingly take direction from leadership and others involved with special projects.
- Accurately maintain and comply with documentation and administrative procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process.
- Attend required company and departmental meetings.
- Act in accordance with Marco policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma and two years of experience in an inventory control role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with business collaboration tools such as MS Office applications, Outlook and company specific programs.
- Communication – Must possess strong communication skills in working with others and the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relations among all levels of an organization. Must effectively listen to others.
