POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Prepares daily bank deposit. Reconciliation of cash schedule. Tracking missing payments from customers. Placing vendor orders. Identification and correction of pricing discrepancies. Issuing customer returns. Receiving and posting of packing slips for incoming inventory. Matching, coding and identifying any missing invoices. Maintenance of purchase orders.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Advanced knowledge of administrative support, arithmetic skills, the ability to use office equipment, follow difficult instructions, and maintain written records. Strong interpersonal skills and high level of computer literacy including spreadsheets, word processing, and database applications. Ability to work under general direction, on multiple tasks with demanding timelines. Must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations. Uses discretion and maintains high level of confidentiality.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma, vocational training or equivalent.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in accounting type role preferred. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Working knowledge of dealership documents. Excellent communication skills. Professional personal appearance. Will be trained on dealership computer systems.
ENVIRONMENTAL/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, typing and/or writing. Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling or crouching. Reach with hands and arms.
