International Student Admissions/Transcript Evaluations Consultant Job at University of West Los Angeles
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented International Student Admissions/Transcript Evaluations Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the transcripts of international students and determining their eligibility for admission to our institution. The Consultant will work closely with the admissions team and international students to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate international students' academic credentials to determine their admission eligibility.
- Conduct research on international education systems and credential evaluation methodologies.
- Communicate with international students and their educational institutions to obtain necessary information and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations regarding international student admissions.
- Collaborate with admissions team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of international student applications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of international student transcripts and evaluations.
Requirements:
- Must have experience on resume evaluating international student transcripts in admission process (Please do not apply without this experience).
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in international student admissions and transcript evaluation.
- NACES company training and/or experience preferred.
- Knowledge of international education systems and credential evaluation methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex academic transcripts.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with international students and their educational institutions.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and policies related to international student admissions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with student information systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:
This is a non-exempt part-time position. This University offers flexible part-time hours per work and hours will be assigned by the supervisor. This role can be fully remote.
