Integrative Clinical Director

Location: Asheville, NC

Summary:

The CooperRiis at Asheville (CRA) Clinical Director provides leadership to the Integrative Recovery Team and sets the tone for a whole person recovery experience rooted in healing community. The Clinical Director supervises the functions and staff of the CRA Clinical Team including the Assistant Clinical Director, Clinical Therapists and Daytime Campus Supervisor. This position works in close consultation with the Managing Director and Integrative Psychiatrist to support resident recovery and the overall vitality of the healing community. The Clinical Director and Managing Director collaborate in developing and implementing program evaluation, quality improvement, and program initiatives. The Clinical Director is available for clinical consultation and provides crisis support for the CRA team.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8-5 pm

Pay:

• Starting at $75,000 and based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Sets the tone for all clinical programing including modeling, ensuring person-centered, holistic clinical care integrated into all of the community
• Ensures all residents are supported in developing individualized Seven Domains Recovery Plan
• Ensures respectful relationships with residents’ family members and/or external providers
• Provides clinical supervision to members of the clinical including through individual and group supervision, assisting clinical staff with assessing needs, identifying diagnostic considerations, evaluating efficacy of interventions, working through therapeutic challenges, and continuously assessing for safety
• Provides individual and/or group psychotherapy as needed and ensures robust treatment offerings
• Provides crisis support and ensures clinical on-call availability 24/7
• Leads Recovery Team meetings, leads/participates in morning meetings, team meetings, hand-off meetings, staff meetings, and admissions meetings
• Conducts clinical orientation for new staff and ongoing clinical consultation and training to non-clinical staff
• Ensures timely, high-quality clinical documentation, conducts regular audits
• Participates in Family Education programming
• Collaborates with the Managing Director, ensures compliance with CooperRiis policies, local, state, and federal regulations
• Leads and implements quality improvements in consultation with the Managing Director and Chief Clinical Officer
• Collaborates with the Farm and ACP Clinical Directors and program leadership to ensure consistency, quality, and communication between departments and programs

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or social work with a current NC license as LCMHC, LCSW, or LMFT
• At least 5 years of experience providing psychotherapy, supervision, and other clinical services
• Experience leading or supervising clinical services/programming
