B-TEK Scales, LLC. is seeking an energetic, results-oriented self-starter for a full-time Inside Sales Representative position. The individual in this position will work on site at our corporate office in Canton, OH. This position is responsible for coordinating with field sales team members and managers to create strategic approaches for the sale of B-TEK products and services. Our well-established customer base relies on this position for product and industry knowledge to acquire optimal solutions for their business needs. The ideal candidate for this position will be honest and assertive in getting their job done, work well as a team player, and have a customer-focused mindset to serve internal and external customers to the best of his or her ability.
Job Responsibilities

• Learn and understand mechanical and electronic products used in the scale industry.

• Read and understand basic mechanical and construction drawings.

• Troubleshoot and solve problems to support our well-established customer base.
• Communicate specific customer design and build requirements via the order entry process to our engineering department.
• Quickly and efficiently produce sales quotations with detailed and accurate product information.
• Communicate with the production and engineering departments on the status of orders to meet delivery commitments to our customers.
• Emphasize product or service features and benefits, quote prices, and prepare sales order reports and engineering information forms.
• Contribute to improving processes with knowledge from previous work experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma
• At least 5 years of sales experience
• Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
• Able to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent telephone sales personality and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills, organized, and detail-oriented
• Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve product and service issues
• Proficient in using common Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to analyze, use critical thinking, and make sound decisions

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $40,000 - $60,000 plus commission
• Health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and other supplemental benefits
