MW Best Block, part of the QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, a manufacturer and retailer of masonry products, is seeking a person to assist customers and contractors by providing quality customer service, both in person and over the phone.

Primary Duties:

• Help customers determine the right Best Block product to meet their needs
• Provide technical assistance for installing and maintaining the products we sell
• Input customer pricing and additional data into the computer system.
• Create accurate and complete invoices and sales orders
• Balance cash drawer and create cash & credit card reports daily
• Work with outside sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of products and their applications and know major competitor product lines.
• Should be familiar with inventory and inventory control. Assist with monthly inventory counts.
• Shared phoned coverage on all incoming calls
• General Filing and yearly storage of files
• Keep office and sample areas clean, organized and presentable

Required Skills:

• Minimum education required: High School Diploma with average to above math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Available to work 40 or more hours per week
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
• Must be able to walk throughout material yards
• Physical demands include the ability to lift 25 lbs on a consistent basis and 50 lbs or more on a random basis. Should be able to stand, sit and walk for long periods of time.

Qualifications:

• Inside sales experience is a plus
• Experience in building materials industry is also a plus
