Our premiere client is seeking a Mold Designer:

• This person must be capable of doing a full mold design from start to finish on complex molds for medical device or aerospace industries very quickly (as little as 4 hours or as much as 2 days)
• On average, our client will do 150-200 new mold builds a year, and on average the team has just one 8 hour shift to full design start to finish a mold. That said, 95% of the molds are single cavitation, between 33 ton – 950 ton. But they are regulated industries so they still have very tight tolerances, and everything is custom, so there isn’t a standard base size they work in.
• Speed of design is CRITICAL and if you are accustomed to having weeks to design an entire mold, then this opportunity is NOT for you.
• Seeking Mold Design experience, not Product Design.
• Primarily use Solidworks, but if you have Cimatron that would be a plus
• MUST HAVE plastic injection mold design experience
