General Description:

1. Primary Responsibilities:

a. Perform IT related activities, including, but not limited to the following:

Ø Provides timely and professional user support and assistance for ERP system.

Ø Setup and configure new employees and assign appropriate security profiles.

Ø Oversee security groups in ERP system.

Ø Conduct routine periodic activities in ERP system as directed by Director of IT.

Ø Update and create customized reports in Crystal Reports for all functions of the business.

Ø Update and create shipping and customized labels. This includes working with customers specifications.

Ø Manage alerts and workflows from ERP system

Ø Work with current Managed Service Provider (MSP) to record, track, and document help desk requests, problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made.

Ø Document processes and procedures including but not limited to Disaster Recovery, Contingency planning, backups, etc.

Ø Escalate problems (when required) to appropriate management.

Ø Purchase IT hardware and software.

Ø Attend weekly IT meetings

Ø Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.

Ø Identify potential areas of improvement.

Ø Create IT postings for communication boards.

Ø Provide individual and/or group instruction and training to staff on computer systems as needed.

Ø Provide technical assistance during special projects.

Ø Available for support calls 24/7

Ø Development and administration of the IT System for PRISM Plastics on specific items.

Ø Travel to assist in the startup of new operations, equipment, and installation.

Travel to assist, as needed, other operations.

Work experience requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of IT work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of ERP experience, IQMS preferred.
  • Experience with computer and/or computer related systems.
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Familiarity Sharepoint a plus.
  • Knowledge of writing SQL scripts a plus but not required

Education Requirements

Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major or a minimum of 5 years related work experience
