Position Summary:

The Information Security Analyst II will work closely with the Network Engineering team and within the Information Systems department to oversee continuous development of the corporate security architecture, assess and resolve any potential vulnerabilities affecting various internal systems, oversee regulatory compliance and auditing requirements, and monitor and manage information governance and data loss prevention tools.

Information Security Analyst II Critical responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall information security program by monitoring and managing data to protect the confidentiality and integrity of organizational systems and data.
  • Create and guide information change management, incident response plan, and other information security program related documents.
  • Develop, update, and implement information security policies.
  • Oversees and maintains regular compliance and auditing requirements including relevant action plans and items.
  • Collaborates with Network Engineering to implement and perform vulnerability scanning and patch management.
  • Works with vendors and stakeholders to facilitate effective RBAC implementations and permissions.
  • Creates and updates security awareness training materials and security analysis reports.
  • Creates and updates security related policies, procedures & guidelines utilizing industry frameworks such as ISO, SOX, HIPAA, PCI, etc.
  • Keeps up to date with regulatory changes and security vulnerabilities affecting the technology space.

Qualifications of a strong candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years working in Information Security.
  • CISSP certification preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of industry standard compliance and auditing frameworks.
  • Experienced in guiding change management and developing information security related documentation.
  • Highly skilled in interpersonal relationships and customer service, assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands, working under pressure and managing time.

Compensation:

Information Security Analyst II will receive a competitive salary based on qualifications.
