Infant Toddler Teacher Job at The Goddard School - Macungie
Our preschool is looking for a warm and friendly professional with experience teaching children and a passion for helping children succeed. The preschool teacher is responsible for creating safe, fun environments as well as relaying important lessons to the children. The right candidate will also be detail-oriented, able to work independently and have strong communication skills with parents and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Plan activities to promote the creative and intellectual development of children.
- Know the developmental stages of children.
- Provide a warm and safe environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Respond to children's emotional needs and promote self-esteem.
- Teach children the basics of education (i.e. English, math, science, etc.).
- Help children understand how their behavior affects others.
- Prepare for emergencies cases (i.e. fire drills, etc.).
- Support curriculum guidelines from preschool programs or centers.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
