Description:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for sawmill equipment, large boiler systems, and kilns. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting, be detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
  • Mix and apply paint to surfaces using spray guns, brushes, or rollers
  • Ensure that all surfaces are properly coated and free of defects
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment
  • Maintain equipment and tools used for painting
  • Work with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards
  • Keep work area clean and organized

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial painting
  • Knowledge of different types of paints and coatings
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces
