Industrial Maintenance Technicians are responsible for troubleshooting and repair of industrial controls, AC/DC drives and PLCs. In addition, he/she performs electrical, mechanical, pipefitting, welding, etc. to keep machines operating and observes machines to determine efficiency and detect problems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.
• Operates standard maintenance tools such as power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, preventative maintenance technology tools, etc.
• Removes motors and other equipment components and prepares for repair.
• Makes minor repairs and alterations to building.
• Repairs electrical and electronic components.
• Records machine maintenance information.
• Sets up and operates machinery and adjusts controls to regulate operations.
• Reads work orders and specifications.
• Maintains good housekeeping in the area using 5S tools.
• Performs other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associates degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or similar field. Equivalent work experience taken into consideration
• 3-5 years Industrial Maintenance experience
• OT required (evenings and weekends)
• Must have flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift Monday through Friday.
