Job Summary

The CertainTeed insulation plant inKansas City, KS is looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to join their friendly and dedicated team. This position is essential to ensure all production equipment remains fully functional and operating at full capacity. The Maintenance Mechanic will work diligently to install, calibrate, repair, overhaul, maintain, construct, and modify all necessary components.

Wages & Schedule

The starting pay is $31.39 /hour and the rotating schedule is as follows:

• Work Saturday - Friday (7 days) 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (1st shift)
• Off Saturday - Tuesday (4 days)
• Work Wednesday - Tuesday (7 days) 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM (3rd shift)
• Off Wednesday - Thursday (2 days)
• Work Friday - Thursday (7 days) 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM (2nd shift)
• Off Friday (1 day)
• Repeat schedule

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic/Tech with relevant certifications and/or schooling. They will be highly skilled at comprehending and utilizing all types of system diagrams and specifications to perform daily tasks such as preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, service requests, etc. The candidate must have a good working knowledge of "code" requirements as it applies to industrial equipment and buildings. Experience with motors, circuits, wiring, hydraulics, conveyor systems, machine lubrication, fabrication, welding, machining, and/or millwright is also very beneficial.
