Hunton Trane, a division of the Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com), is seeking to hire an Industrial I&E Engineer. This role will be responsible for identifying and understanding the controls components required in process heating and cooling applications. The selected individual should be the technical expert for the mechanical engineering, sales, and project management teams. The Industrial I&E Engineer will also be responsible for developing comprehensive and cost-effective technical solutions for the control systems on process and HVAC designs at industrial facilities. This role should be able to provide ongoing technical consultation to facilitate the sales/business development process, ensure smooth installations for the customer.

Responsibilities:
- Support project managers and field teams with technical expertise.
- Develop P&ID drawings, Control narratives, Instrumentation lists, & ISA datasheets for rotating equipment and mechanical skids
- Process Heating and Cooling Systems, HVAC Systems, & Building Automated Systems.
- Develop innovative solutions that bring additional value to the customer.
- Stay abreast of current technologies and industry trends.
- Identify and utilize software modeling tools.
- Utilize cloud tools such as Microsoft Teams & SharePoint for collaboration.
Qualifications:
- BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of construction or engineering related work experience.
- A strong process controls background.
- Mastery of process flow fundamentals including rotating equipment and hydronic system design.
- Experience with maintaining ISA datasheet standards.
- Experience with P&ID drawings and control component selection
- Experience with industrial controls engineering and documentation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task, work well with others, and have positive attitude.
- Clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
