Years of experience: 5 + years experience

Skill Level:

Can install residential style/light commercial equipment and refrigerant piping

Working knowledge of residential/light commercial ductwork systems/controls, thermostats, gas piping

Can read and interpret mechanical codes

Minimum score of 75% on Mechanical Aptitude Assessment

Powder Gun certification

AWP certification

CFC certification

Zoom Lock, Pro Press and Mega Press Certification

Must be able to braze and solder

Must be enrolled in HVAC courses (PHCC, Trade School, etc.)

Can install Commercial/Comfort Zone

Understands mechanical code as it applies to light commercial

Working knowledge of light commercial ductwork systems

Troubleshooting units, controls

Nate certification

Zone system wiring ASI, etc.

Can install commercial equipment

Troubleshooting zone systems DC Voltage Controls

Knows and understands mechanical code

Nate/Air Distribution Certification

GSM Journeyman Card

24 hours of continuing education

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and safe driving record

Must have all required tools

Neatness, uniforms per company standards

Punctuality, attendance and attitude must be exceptional

Can read, interpret drawings and equipment manuals

Ability to troubleshoot and repair all systems

Can read and write to a high school level

Completed GSM Services Commercial Standards

Responsible and accountable for the following:

• Crew time and production
• Truck maintenance
• Truck cleanliness
• Truck tools
• Crew following company and Osha safety standards and can demonstrate proper use of all PPE equipment
• Punctuality, attendance and attitude must be exceptional

Leadership Level:

Follow all GSM management guidelines

Able to manage two plus man crew without office assistance

Responsible and accountable for the following:

• Crew time and production
• Truck maintenance
• Truck cleanliness
• Truck tools
• Crew following company and OSHA Safety Standards
• Understands and demonstrate all use of PPE

Responsibilities:

Maintain the overall standards of quality, performance and courtesy set forth by GSM Services and its leadership team. Provide Comfort & Peach of Mind to our customers and co-workers.

Responsible for wearing proper uniforms and maintaining personal appearance to GSM Services standards.

Maintain attendance in accordance with GSM Services Attendance Policy

Responsible for daily time records, ensuring it is accurate and approved by leader

Comply with all GSM Services safety regulations

Maintain all tools and equipment in proper working condition

Work each day to the Sundown Rule

Possess the ability to read and write English to High School level

Additional duties as assigned:

Working conditions:

• Exposure to weather conditions, able to handle working in extreme heat/cold
• Work may include rooftops, basements, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, Ceilings, attics, etc.
• Able to set up, climb and take down ladders
• Lifting and carrying tools, refrigerant containers, recovery machine, torches, HVAC equipment, etc. up to 75 lbs.
