We are currently seeking a motivated, detailed, self-starting HVAC INSTALLER/TECHNICIAN who desires to join a successful organization of seasoned HVAC professionals. Candidates should be comfortable with their knowledge of HVAC systems and standards, written and verbal communication and problem-solving abilities, be well-organized, and have a strong aptitude for follow-through.
HVAC INSTALLER/TECHNICIAN Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Properly connect equipment (electrical hook-ups, gas lines, venting, etc.)
- Perform start-ups on HVAC systems and other components
- Complete Preventative Maintenance tasks and inspections of HVAC equipment
- Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring on HVAC equipment
- Reading and understanding of control wiring for HVAC equipment
- Reading and understanding of hydronics (water loop systems)
- Pipefitting and welding
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Comply with safety regulations
HVAC INSTALLER/TECHNICIANQualifications 5 years minimum experience in installation and repair of Commercial HVAC equipment
- Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and Commercial HVAC systems
- Knowledge of control and equipment sequence of operations
- Knowledge of package units up to 90 tons
- Previous Hospital experience is a plus
- Data room equipment experience (Liebert and Data Air) is a plus
- VRF installation and repair is a plus
- Communication and customer service skills
- Computer skills in using Microsoft office and/or iPad is a plus
- Clean driving record
- Limited travel may be required
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Authorized to work in the United States
