Provides onboarding support for full-time and part-time/event-based colleagues across the Sports & Entertainment group, ODM and IHI. This includes ensuring all new colleagues have a positive onboarding experience from offer, background check processing, orientation, new hire paperwork completion and I-9 compliance. Also supports office planning (seat assignment, IT set-up, point person for Property Management) and colleague event coordination and implementation, which are anticipated to resume in 2022.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide onboarding support for full-time and part-time/event-based colleagues across the organization
Ensure that colleagues have a positive onboarding experience from offer through orientation.
Complete background check process.
Serve as HR contact for payroll processing for multiple weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
Ensure all time tracking has been reported and approved correctly for all non-exempt staff.
Communicate to new hires and managers effectively regarding status in the onboarding process.
Assist in the planning an implementation of colleague events.
Ensuring all new hire process, including on boarding and orientation are completed for new colleagues.
Ensure I-9 Compliance by verifying appropriate documentation for all new hires.
Demonstrate professionalism and a high degree of confidentiality in all matters.
Administer/support HR department projects and programs as directed and maintain documentation of events.
Compile spreadsheets perform basic level analysis and assist with presentations as requested.
Ensure all files are maintained and in compliance with applicable procedures, policies or audit requirements.
Act in a liaison role between colleagues and human resource.
Perform administrative duties including but not limited to mail, faxes, filing, preparing meeting materials/handbooks, expense reports, processing invoices, scheduling meetings and conference rooms, etc.
Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to all HR related matters and information.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2 years of HR experience is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
Excellent organization skills, with the ability to multi-task.
Strong customer service orientation as well as present a professional, executive presence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Proven track record of handling confidential information.
