Human Resource Coordinator (Part-Time) Job at Cultivate, Inc.
Location: Local Remote; Chicagoland/Suburban area
Hours: 20 - 30 hours per week (no more than 30 hours per week)

Position Overview:
Cultivate is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to support the leadership team and department managers with best practices and employee relations. This position requires a person who is organized, a self-starter, able to perform various HR and administrative tasks in a timely manner. Reporting directly to the CFO, the position is responsible for reporting and advising on all relevant HR functions and topics and administrative duties for the company.

Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll, monitor employee PTO, and update deductions, when applicable.
- Ensure compliance on HR related matters including, but not limited to federal, state, and local laws, mandatory posting requirements, training, job descriptions, and exempt vs. non-exempt positions.
- Act as liaison between health/ancillary insurance broker on all relevant matters and facilitate mandatory reporting for compliance tasks such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
- Maintain employee handbook as well as employee records and respond to HR and benefit related questions.
Office Administrator Responsibilities:
- Assist CFO in completing office administration duties including, but not limited to, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fleet and Business Insurance.
- Use company ERP system to enter and track expenses, download, and report on employee billable and non-billable data, job health and profit.
Requirements
- 1+ years' Human Resource experience and previous experience working in a business office environment
- Bachelor's degree required, HR Certification a plus
