HR Generalist - (Worker's Compensation) Job at City of Palm Coast
Under direct supervision, the purpose of the position is to perform general administrative support and paraprofessional work in the field of Human Resources. Employees in this job classification function as entry level staff to accomplish assigned functions according to established schedules, calendars, projects, and programs of the department. Processes and monitors all worker's compensation claims, completes wage statements, ensures staff attend related medical appointments, confirms restrictions, if any, to return injured worker to duty as quickly as possible. Ensures employee timecards reflect periods of extended absence due to worker's compensation. Work also includes providing support with, benefits, new hire processing, recruitment, and Risk Management. Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration or a related field is preferred. Prefers candidates with three (3) years responsible experience in workers compensation or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience with Kronos and Tyler-MUNIS is a plus.

Pay: $21.03 - $23.84 per hour
