Your Skills
**This role will be supporting our partner brand, SLADE Industries in Mountainside, NJ**
HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all HR transactional needs for SLADE. In this role the individual will be responsible for maintaining data in various HR systems, various employee relations topics, and streamlining HR processes.
Essential Functions
- Submit employee change tickets for SuccessFactors which includes, employee reporting charts, titles, cost centers, etc
- Maintain employee files to ensure all mandatory documentation is filled out and filed correctly. Work on uploading employee files to a digital system.
- Process any employee changes such as promotions, lateral moves, pay rate changes, etc in HRIS
- Support all administrative activities for new employee onboarding and files
- Reconcile payroll for non-union folks, using eTime system
- Reconcile payroll for union folks by submitting time sheet to SEC payroll team
- Audit punches in eTime to ensure only approved overtime is entered. Review and approve punches. Review and approve PTO and Sick time requests
- Work closely with Benefits team to get new hires enrolled in benefits plans
- Work with temp agencies on monitoring temp employee attendance and approve temp time cards
- Work with Benefits and HRIS teams to process any LOA/STD/LTD claims with Unum and in HRIS system
- Work with Workers Comp team to file any claims as needed
- Respond to any unemployment claims
- Union Remittance reports processing and working with AP to reconcile payments
- Process ESM tickets for Payroll issues such as missing pay, dues updates, W-4 corrections, etc.
- Ordering office materials and supplies
- Coordinating any facilities needs to ensure the workspace is clean, maintained, and organized
Your Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Labor Relations
- HR certification (aPHR or PHR)
- 3-5 years of experience in HR functions (payroll, recruiting, HR)
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, administrative functions of ADP eTime, ADP Global View, MS Office Suite
- Experience with CSS is a plus
