As an HR Associate, this individual will work on confidential projects, which will require discretion. Under general supervision and own initiative this role performs diverse, advanced administrative duties and manages high level tasks for the CAO of HR to include but not limited to:

  • Represent Citizens Bank and the HR CAO with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity, to ensure confidentially, both internally and externally, always.
  • Make decisions that support the priorities of the organization, while anticipating the needs of the Human Resources Leadership team, as they relate to agenda, schedule, and priorities.
  • Lead on assigned projects and act on behalf of the HR CAO when doing so.
  • Create and prepare reports to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Aggregate and analyze data to support initiatives and/or provide guidance to inform projects.
  • Manage all incoming correspondence, phone calls and other communications, determining priority and responding quickly and professionally.
  • Oversee coordination and completion of administrative functions (expense tracking, procurement, travel coordination, filing, maintenance of databases for efficient access to information) in compliance with Citizens policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with the strategic partners inside and outside of HR including the ExCo and other executive leadership group members. Manage communications and scheduling with a variety of stakeholders to include ExCo/ELG on critical projects and/or change management plans.
  • Understand and adhere to all of Citizens guidelines regarding ethics, compliance, customer, colleague, and bank safety.
  • Continuously improve office processes, be it self-initiated or part of organization-wide improvements.
  • Support broader CAO and HRLT as needed.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Senior administrative experience of 5+ years required
  • Financial Institution experience a plus
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, independent in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable nature to support quick changing situations and priorities
  • Must have strong organizational, communication and planning skills
  • Good problem resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, prioritizing work as appropriate
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and support individuals locally and remotely and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be proficient MS Office skills - Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Advanced Excel skills including the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform formulaic calculations and automation to aggregate and process large volumes of data.
  • Must be proficient in collaboration tools including SharePoint and MS Teams
  • Ability to work regularly in the Johnston, RI Location

Education, Certification and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • High School or equivalent (GED) required
  • Associate's Degree strongly preferred

Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri
