Sofidel America of Haines City, FL is currently seeking a Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant. We are searching for a local candidate looking for a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive office and clerical support to day-to-day operations of human resources ensuring the efficient delivery of processes and departmental transactions, in addition; to processing new hires, terminations, and status changes while working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.

  • Organize and maintain personnel records, enter new employee data, and update previous employee data in internal HR databases.
  • Prepare various HR documents, including new hire packets and temp documents.
  • Answer any employee queries about personnel or HR-related issues, and help them resolve them internally, if possible.
  • Distribute birthday cards and post HR notices and/or communications.
  • Assist in coordinating monthly activities to enhance employee engagement.
  • Enter disciplinary actions and termination information.
  • File, archive, and organize employee personnel and medical records.
  • SAP data entry including training, entering new temps, term temps, and PRQs.
  • Ensure receptionist functions are carried out as required.
  • Handle administrative functions including copying, scanning, and mailing required documents.
  • Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate's degree is preferred; one (1) to three (3) years of administrative assistance experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
