Real Estate Equities Development, a Minnesota based development company, is accepting resumes for a part-time Housekeeper at our property in West Des Moines. The Village Cooperative of West Des Moines is a dynamic independent senior community. We provide maintenance free living for our age 55+ cooperative members.

Our Housekeeper provides prompt and courteous service to our members and cleans all of the interior common areas of the facility and assists with general clean-up of the exterior of the building.

The right candidate is someone who is compassionate, energetic, detail oriented, and has at least two years of Housekeeping experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring all common areas of the building are cleaned and maintained timely while adhering to all standards of quality.
• Clean and maintain all common areas including, vacuuming hallways, stairwells, elevator(s), entry ways, and common areas; cleaning glass in bathrooms, windows, and doors; dusting tables, window ledges, furniture, pictures and decorations; polishing the inside/outside of elevator(s) and furniture; cleaning toilets and vanities; sanitizing floors, surfaces and recycling bins; and spot cleaning floors, rugs, and walls as needed
• Clean and maintain the guest suite (when used) which includes vacuuming, washing and changing sheets, dusting, trash removal, and cleaning the bathroom.
• Clean exterior building items including, but not limited to, outside furniture and deck rails
• Maintain physical appearance of the community by performing weekly inspections of the commons areas and guest suite and communicating any concerns regarding the safety, aesthetics, or maintenance of the property to your supervisor.
• Maintain the supply room inventory of chemicals and supplies and request a reorder as necessary.
• Assist with performing a variety of physical tasks/duties including shoveling, sweeping and removal of trash or debris as needed.

Position Details:

• Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
• 9:00 am -1:00 pm Monday – Friday
• Part-time 20 hours per week (extra hours may be required at times)
