Our mills in Rumford, Maine and Biron Wisconsin are integrated paper & pulp facilities, and our mill in Fairmont, West Virginia is one of only three in the world that produces air-dried, recycled pulp. Description:
Hourly production with assignment to various departments. Flexible work assignment and 8 hour shift rotation required.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass pre-employment screening including selection/testing criteria.
Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrate safety as a core value
- Lifting heavy objects
- Climbing stairs and ladders and work at heights
- Considerable amount of walking, reaching, turning, and twisting
- Working in extremely hot areas
- Must safely, efficiently, and effectively operate power industrial trucks
- Must safely, efficiently, and effectively operate overhead cranes and hoists
- Reading and using measuring devices
- Legible handwriting
- Performing basic math
- Performing data entry
- Understanding computer reports
- Comprehending and following written procedures and policies
- Ability to learn basic use of computers including email
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Working shifts (7-3; 3-11; 11-7; sometimes all 3 within the same workweek)
- Work overtime as business needs dictate
- Working all days of the week (all operations are 24/7)
