The Hospital Admissions Coordinator for Camber Children’s Mental Health (CCMH) assists with the coordination of intakes and assessments for short term hospitalization of clients. The job is fast paced and requires accuracy and attention to detail. The Coordinator will have contact with physicians, nurses and UR to ensure timely, accurate and complete assessments are performed on children and youth and make appropriate referrals for placement and services based on the assessment. The Coordinator is responsible for completing intake and assessment documentation with new patients and their families. Shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am.

Must be 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check required.

Pay Rate: $16 per hour depending on education and experience.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a human service field (Social Work, Social Services, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Education, Criminal Justice/Criminology) preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Experience Requirements:

One year experience in a human services field required. This could include schooling/training. Experience working with economically disadvantaged, vulnerable or at-risk youth and/or young adults. Prefer a minimum of two years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
