The Help Desk Technician utilizes the appropriate technologies and tools to provide support to all employees. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of learning new technologies and tools independently, and will escalate as needed to inform key staff or departments, and coordinate with outside vendors. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the IT industry or related field.
- Proven experience as a help desk support technician or other customer support role is preferred. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
- Proficiency in English, excellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
- BSc/BA in IT is preferred or an Associate's degree or technical certification, Computer Science or relevant field is preferred but not required.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Must be highly analytical; have excellent problem solving abilities; sound judgement; initiative.
- Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening process required.
- Mental Demands: Requires a high degree of mental alertness, comprehension, time management, and the ability to cope with resolving information and system problems.
- Must be able to attend the work site per schedule, and must be available to provide emergency coverage during after-hours shifts.
