Responsibilities:
The Head of Marketing and Communications is accountable for all internal and external Marketing and Communications strategies for the firm. As a key leader in the organization, this role requires the ability to create strategy, manage the team’s detailed project plans and present to the CEO. This includes responsibility for all marketing channels (e.g., digital, social, print, sponsorship), business units (e.g., Commercial, Private Wealth, Consumer) and functions (e.g., communications, research, creative, brand) across Texas Capital Bank.
  • Lead prioritization and delivery of Marketing and customer messaging in a unified voice across all channels along with the Corporate Communications teams and key business/stakeholder teams
  • Lead Corporate Communications for Texas Capital, that includes the management and delivery of all internal and external messaging, as well as interface with media outlets in all Texas Capital markets, as well as National Media.
  • Develop marketing communications plans for key customer initiatives/messages across the Texas Capital Brand, Products, Customer Experience, and other departments
  • Lead owned channel monetization and partner placements to drive revenue, profitability, and partner value across multiple owned channels and placements
  • Lead the strategic development of email marketing campaigns and journeys to increase customer engagement and to maximize revenue and profitability
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on management of emails to Texas Capital customers that are from multiple departments/platforms as well 3rd party partners
  • Create and maintain relevant content on Texas Capital Bank digital sites; including homepage, product and policy pages, and affiliate sites to inform customers and enhance their experience
  • Lead the increase of measurement and analysis of owned channel performance, partnering closely with the Revenue Analysis and Operations Research teams
  • Set the MarTech strategy and development plan to drive personalization, customer engagement and business results in the short-term (1-3 years) and to deliver business transformation longer-term
  • Areas of focus include customer data unification, prediction and decision modeling, content organization and management, and content delivery/orchestration across customer channels
  • Partner closely with IT and Business Unit stakeholders to develop the MarTech strategy; align on cost-effective technology tools that meet customer and business needs; and develop a cross-functional executional plan
  • Positive leadership of multiple managers and their teams to deliver strong performance, as well as to improve individual team member engagement, satisfaction, and career development
  • Reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer of Texas Capital, with a team of approximately 30.
Qualifications:
  • 10-year plus experience leading Corporate Marketing or Business Communications in a large Corporation, preferably in Financial Services.
  • BBA in Marketing or related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with both internal communications and Public Relations
  • Extensive direct marketing experience with strong understanding of best-in-class digital marketing techniques
  • Demonstrated success positioning a brand through creative and content marketing
  • Ability to process and make decisions based on data and set quantitative goals
  • Ability to build, motivate, and lead a high performing team
  • Experience in media, corporate communication and/or agency backgrounds strongly preferred
  • Exceptional change agent skills that challenge the organization to drive innovation
  • Superior communication, problem solving skills and ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
