Founded in 2015, Hard Truth Distilling Co. produces and releases a variety of premium spirits to market while filling our rackhouse with Indiana rye whiskey and bourbon. Now Indiana's largest destination distillery, Hard Truth lives on a 325-acre wooded campus in Brown County - an artists' colony and tourist destination known for its natural beauty.

Hard Truth Distilling Co. is looking to hire an Assistant Manger at our Tours and Tastings center!

Responsibilities:

• Effectively assist in managing and leading the team in the bar and tours. Assisting in monitoring, training, and developing employees. Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with all team members.
• Establish weekly asset scheduling and training that allows for a smooth service flow at all areas. Assist in training and developing Hard Truth employees.
• Assist in inventory, ordering, rotation, monitoring, and accepting orders for product. Minimize waste.
• Maintain and enforce cleanliness and organization throughout the center. Assure that bar, floors, tables, and all front-of-house is cleaned and sanitized.
• Control cash and other receipts.
• Must be proficient in each area of the front-of-house. Assure that guests are greeted and are being issued timely and correct service. Assist with any customer service needs.
• Other tasks and duties when needed.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience: 1 year minimum in a supervisory capacity a bar or tour center.
• Able to lift minimum of 40 lbs.
• Able to work on feet in a bar/tour center environment for extended periods of time.
• Must have or the ability to obtain an Alcohol serving permit in the state of Indiana.
