Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Hair Dresser / Nail Tech to join our team! Full-time position available with complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with company match, and more. Hours will be 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
- Performs nail services to residents including but not limited to filing, buffing, cutting, and polishing.
- Sanitizes equipment daily and performs general cleaning as needed.
- Maintains proper inventory of supplies and communicates needs to Salon Team Lead
- Attends meetings and in-service programs as assigned by Beauty Shop Coordinator.
- Performs beautician duties including but not limited to shampoos, cut, color, perms, etc. as needed.
- Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and a positive, calm environment.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Educational requirements:
- High school diploma
- Licensure, Certification, and Registration
- Cosmetologist License
Work Orientation and Experience:
- Prior experience preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Other Requirements Specific to Assigned Area:
- Fill in as needed as relief for hairdresser or assistant
