Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Designer to join our team in Virginia Beach.
This role is focused on creating a Brand Experience utilizing Sketch Up, Lumion, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel, Bluebeam and other software’s. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, creative intuition and ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and signage, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project and client’s vision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to work on a variety of platforms to exceed the clients needs.
- Ensure designs meet our department standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
- Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with various internal and external teams.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity.
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
- Ability to work as a Team member in a unique and diverse group.
- Be able to read and understand architectural drawings.
Job Specifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years’ relatable experience as a Graphic Designer in the sign/branding industry desired. Knowledge of materials, fabrication methods as well as installation processes preferred.
- Computer Skills: Experience in Adobe Creative Suites and Sketchup a must, CorelDraw also preferred. Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator. Experience with computer-aided design preferred.
