Grant Writing Coordinator - .5 FTE position, 20 hour per week position.
Grant Writing Coordinator Role and Responsibilities:
The Grant Writing Coordinator will be a resourceful and results-oriented person that can work very well independently on researching and investigating grant opportunities, writing grant applications and responding in a timely manner to all secured grants for the organization. This person will need to have a passion to move operational opportunities forward to support the organizations mission and goals. He/she will be responsible for leading a comprehensive grant management program. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable for this position as well as past grant writing experiences. A degree in philanthropy, business management, marketing, communications, fundraising management or non-profit management preferred. Previous health care industry experiences would be beneficial. Certification as a CFRE or ACFRE desirable, but not required.

This position will work closely with many different areas and with different people inside and outside of the organization. The Grant Writing Coordinator will need good organization skills and follow through on grant project updates throughout the completion of the grant period.

- Ability to be extremely organized and able to meet strict deadlines related to Grant opportunities
- Ability to take on and effectively manage projects outside of the normal scope of work

- Strong financial acumen, as well as organizational and strategic planning skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, MS Teams and potentially grant management software programs
