Are you passionate in scientific and engineering methodologies?
Do you enjoy motivating others to deliver successful solutions for business and customers?
Join our cutting-edge Geoservices team
We are the leader in subsurface modeling, forecasting and optimization of reservoir assets in conventional, unconventional and energy transition assets. Our innovative physical and digital solutions improve efficiency, production/injection, and maximize reservoir value. Baker Hughes offers its customers technology and solutions that minimize the risk of additional costs during the construction of wells worldwide.
Partner with the best
As a Geologist / Geomodeler, within the North American, Reservoir Technical Services Division you will work with a multidisciplinary team on both hydrocarbon industry and energy transition focused projects.
Your contributions will include:
- Multisource data analysis
- Regional well correlation exercises,
- Reservoir and seal characterization
- Depositional systems modeling on clastic, carbonate, and unconventional reservoirs.
You will build state-of-art 3D geological (static) models, to support FDPs, sector models for workovers, EOR, ICDs/HF planning, and injection programs for CCS and geothermal projects. You will also provide well operations support through planning, wellbore placement, coring intervals, monitoring and geo-steering.
In addition, you'll be responsible for:
- Accomplishing various types of studies (quick look analysis, feasibility studies, reservoir characterization, field development projects, contributions to 3D geomechanical modeling).
- Performing regional well correlations and reservoir characterization within clastic and carbonate reservoirs, and have a good understanding of core analysis, wireline log principles, petrophysical attributes analysis, and seismic processing/interpretations.
- Creating detailed 3D stratigraphic and structural frameworks within complex depositional systems and structural regimes. Incorporating 3D natural fracture modeling using DFN, CFN techniques.
- Integrating various trends and data sets (2D/3D seismic attributes, depositional environment trends, regional and field analog data) to perform detailed 3D facies models.
- Generating property models (porosity, permeability, water saturation, NTG, geothermal gradient, etc.) using various geostatistical methods and utilization of complex functions within the software calculator.
- Constructing 3D geocellular models capable of running numerical simulations on.
- Creating complex workflows with implementation for generating multiple 3D geological model realizations.
